Looking For Support Gigs

    Hey,

We're a three piece called 'Kids Don't Play It Safe', influenced by bands like Biffy Clyro, at the drive in, yourcodenameis:milo, etc.
We played our first two gigs in May but havn't been up to much, gigging wise, since. Basically we're looking for bands to support for gigs anywhere around Dublin from around the 10th of July onwards. We've got an original, highly energetic set of about 45 minutes at the moment, growing rapidly which went down really well in our first two gigs.

So yeah if your looking for a support band in July/August....let me know.

    Thanks.

    Hey dude,

You probably need to get some MP3's up somewhere so people can hear what you're like. Hell, I uploaded 3 a few weeks ago and only got one reply...

C'mon people, where's the love? (or hate, if applicable...) ;)

Anyone know what are the best places / who are the best people around Dublin to contact about opening / new band slots?
    We will play anywhere.

just dont play in Dorans, **** hole is not worth the trouble, only if your really desperate.
if you want a nice place who will do advertising Sugar Club but is bit pricey, the Hub and Voodoo have nice atmospheres
If you put up a demo online will see what I can organise for various fundraisers starting from sept onwards
Do you guys practice in the studios up beside St. Pats?
whats the name of your drummer, I think I know him

Check out gigsmartireland.com. Also, get a web-site up with mp3's so people can listen. Play some Saturday gigs in Dorans to gain some experience of playing live.
