GAA Jersey measurements

I was wondering if anybody knew the standard measurements for a GAA jersey? I checked the O'Neills site but reckon that can't be right because I recently bought a soccer jersey that was size 40-42 inch chest and that didn't fit yet a small size adult GAA jersey fits me and it says on the site that it is 36 inches.
