    Press Release for Comwreck.com
    June 17 2005

Ireland's recent "fantastic" broadband growth argument is based on misinformation.

The latest line of defence by Eircom's David McRedmond about the devastating new OECD and EC broadband tables (Ireland is not catching up at all and still on solid second last place in the EU-15) is baseless nonsense.

In a point-by-point commentary of an "Eircom-article" in the Irish Times we expose the level of misinformation put out by Eircom's financial director David McRedmond.

Read all and view the latest EC and OECD broadband tables in the latest Comwreck article: "We are your friends", direct link is here

Has there been any follow-up story in the Irish Times on McRedmond's propaganda piece?

We asked to submit an opinion piece, heard nothing back.

Perhaps IOFFL should increase its advertising budget.

I recommend multiplying the existing budget 100 times ;)
