Motorola V980 MP3 Help

    Hey,

    my brother got the v980 and we been trying to put mp3's on it but motorolas software keeps saying the file size is too big, even tried 4mb!

    anyone know what the story is?

    have you checked for updates from the Motorola Site?

    How are you transferring the file?
    The phone itself has only 2mb memory, so it needs to be saved to the memory card

    I had this problem with my one.

    Dont transfer it through the melody studio.Use the mobile explorer to transfer to the phone but you must first select the mmc from the list on the right.
    Works everytime for me.Ive mp3s up to 10megs in size plus a couple of .rm movies on the phone aswell.
