Hanging with Wireless turned on

    toshiba equium m40x-103 internal lan intel pro/wireless 2200gb.
    if wireless turned on the machine will freeze.Any attempt to access or change
    the settings on the card are painfully slow or will freeze the
    machine, previously had been working well. Nothing I can think of has changed.
    Up to date nortons, all win XP updates applied.
    Machine 3 weeks old.

    Sounds like the wireless drivers. Has it ever worked ok? Try downloading updated drivers from the Toshiba site.

    It will be under warranty. Go back to the shop you got it from and get them to fix it for free.
