tried beaming one on day. It's designed for the U.K. market and it's a free to air reciever... Good price on the reciever alone but the dish is small and thus the signal is weak/hard find an exact beam. Could use the reciever with a standard dish...

Does it have a card-slot for FTV channels?
Very interested in getting one (I imagine I'll have to camp outside my local Lidl though?)
Should be fairly handy picking up a bigger dish too- they're so easily available these days.

Should be ideal for Motor home, especially in Europe or the UK for Ireland it looks like you might need an 80cm aerial. bear in mind that everytime you move the motor home you will have to reallign the dish.

Does anyone know if Eurosport is available as a Free-To-Air channel and will I be able to receive it using the Lidl Digital Camping Satellite System.

Ch 4/5 and ITV are not FTA. Check out the Satellite forum for discussion on this. I don't thik Eurosport is FTA but I may be mistaken. If you go to Hotbird, you get some Italian sports Channels FTA. and German channels on Astra 1 I think.

LIDL must source them somewhere, they can't be the only ones selling them. I'd imagine a bit of internet scouting will yield results. If half a car park of people are willing to buy them for 99 Euro, I'm sure they'd pay 150 for them.

Ditto in Blanch, I was told that they handed out tickets to people outside the door at 5AM so they could come back later :(
I was there at 8AM, very pleased with myself, to no avail....
