The rates with Enterprise if cheaper if you book online...www.enterprise.com but just thinking about it Enterprise (and argus) need you to have your own insurance if I remember correctly.

try www.opel.ie and click on the million mile drive link. You get a brand new Opel of your choice (or whatever they have left!) for 3 days free. All you need is a full licence, a credit card (for security purposes!) or laser! Went to Galway for a weekend in mine! :D

If you don't have your own insurance (which I'm guessing you don't!) they put you on the garage insurance for free!

    Budget.ie

Spent alot of time researching this last year. These are the cheapest and most flexible imo. Min age 23 with 2 years full driving license.

Seriously no point looking any further, if you do your research properly I guarantee you will end up with this company.

    HTH.

    How did that work out?
Did you have to pay anything any obligations etc.....
Might do it just for the laugh get the astra sport hatch :D

We tried to get an astra sport but your one said they were the most popular (I wonder why?? :D ) so they were all booked out!

No charges...all my friends have done it now getting either vectra's, zafira's, corsa's or meriva's! I couldn't believe it!

We got the car (a corsa) with 306km..took it a bit off road in Galway (the pot holes on some of them roads are huge!) and brought it back with nearly 1200km on the clock. The car was filthy but the dealer just had a look around it to make sure there was no damage then he just took the keys back! He didn't care and no charges on the credit card for cleaning it etc!

My friend got one from Airton Tallaght (a zafira) and your man asked her would she buy it and she just said she liked it but would only buy second hand! He left it at that!

Hmm, just compared them with a reservation I made yesterday with Hertz through aerlingus.com. They are not cheaper for a 5 week rental in Italy...

check this website out they just find th cheapest car price from a whole load of rental companies

    http://www.rentacar-ireland.com/

but seriously the Opel million mile test drive is a joke they don't even try to sell you the car when you bring it back. It's actually Enterprise car rental that you get the car from you just pick it up at a dealers, but of course it's FREE FREE FREE!!!

And to think I rented an astra off entreprise a few weeks back and had to pay €56 for the pleasure of it (and i say that ironically as was not a pleasure driving that yoke :( )
