OK im starting a new job next week and ill be working in blanchestown coporate business park. The 40 d goes right into it...but I need to get a connection of somesort to it. I live in Santry (right next to DCU) and im near the 13/16/41 or even the 103. whats the best one there for me to connect to the 40d

I was thinking of getting the 103 west to somewhere around finglas and then connect there rather then go to drumcondra and get it there. Think it would be faster and skip most of the traffic.

    Any ideas??

Try the 17A from Ballymun Road. You'll be in Finglas in 10 minutes, where you can connect with the 40D.

Don't rely on the 103/104 to get you anywhere, especially not to connect to other buses. It's unreliable as hell.

Cheers the 17A looks like the job. I can get pff at the last stop(in finglas) and then get the 40d to go further west.

Whats the traffic like around these 2 routes at 7.00-8.00 in the morning. I cant imagine it to be too heavy!

I can tell you that from the finglas end to blanch, it does be free flowing alot of the time as I travel on that stretch every morn just before 9am.
Your lucky your not travelling in opposite direction in mornings as it does be hell.
