    Hey Guys,
I have a dual boot machine, so it boots Linux and Windows, but the Windows partition is corrupt and I need to reformat it. Is it possible to reformat just the Windows, or do a reinstall of Windows without touching the Linux installation?

You'll need to re-install Windows, then put your Linux disc in, and 're-install' that. Assuming you don't change any of the existing packages you have (and the installer will figure those out for you), all that will happen is that the boot loader will be re-written.

This applies to the Anaconda installer (RedHat & Fedora), though it may apply to others too.

yeah exactly, the windows installation will overwrite the mbr, so you will have to reinstall grub/lilo
