Idea for a sticky

I have my Windows Active Desktop enabled and it is a collage of various things like the Dublin ensemble, 4/5 day 850hPa/temp chart from Wetterzentrale, etc. I used to have the nice BBC radar, temp & wind images too but they're gone now.

I was wondering if it would be a good idea to set up a sticky with these kind of things so we can just click on it and see, at a glance, what's going on. As the seasons change we could add stuff like hurricane watch etc.

The idea would be that the sticky would be locked and updated once a day.

there may be copyright issues with such a thread .

That would be a good idea but as you say copyright issues would be
a problem. ANd DL's would be pretty slow with all those images
    if you didnt have Broadband.

It would be good if there was a links thread with just one page packed
of Links instead of a thread with different posts with links in it.

Although if it were possible to have your idea that would be much
better for me as i have broadband

Well then a compromise might be just to have the links to the various models, forecasts, etc. (like WC suggests). Maybe organise them into T+0, T+12, T+24, etc. and then have links to forecasts from Metcheck, Weather.com, Wunderground, etc.

Then as the hurricane season gathers pace there could be links to NOAA, webcams, etc.
