What would you recommend....?it will mostly be for the internet with a little bit of gaming.I was thinking of being lazy and just buying of the dell site...?as I want a full package as in speekers and monitor as the system I am using now is wel out of date.

I no you lot are going to say build one or get someone to build you one but I could not be bothered with all the hassle.I just want to buy a full packaged system.

Dell = Hell make sure you get a warranty that covers both software and hardware, mine only covered Hardware and i'd to cough up to get the software fixed after every thing went down from an internet virus, Oh yeah Make sure to get good anti-virus software too, I'd advise a Flat screen TFT monitor i find them easier on the eyes.

My advice (if its just for a bit of gaming) is to spend at most 800-900 on the computer. Spending more is overkill for your needs.

AMD64 3200+, 1gig ram, Geforce 6600 + whatever you want (dvd burner, large hd, etc). Thats what i'd recommend.

Decent system can be done Skt745 Athlon 3700 with a gig of ram, 250 gb Hdd and an AGP X800XL with a 17"Screen off geeks.com would be within your budget if ya look around right.
