Anyone listen to these guys? I 'purchased' a copy of "our endless numbered days" a few weeks ago and have since tried to 'purchase' as much of their material as I can.. there seems to be alot of it.
I've been listening to woman king on almost constant repeat for the past day or two now, I love this band so much. So god damn much.

if you haven't heard of them, go and 'purchase' a cd .. they're well worth the 'money'

Second that, Sam Beam's a genius, lovely voice. I hear he's just completed a mini LP with Calexico which should be interesting.
The Creak Drank the Cradle is an excellent album too, I'd recommend 'buying' it.

Iron and Wine are amazing, i've loved thier stuff for ages now and woman king is one of the best EP's i've ever heard.
i'm just really sorry i missed him when he played Whelans last year, was apparently a great gig.

seeing as how I don't feel like starting another thread

how's everyone feel about Explosions in the sky? There's a band with... music.

Great music too. The kind of music that doesn't even need vocals. It doesn't even *want* them.

Yup... and Don Caballero, Silver Mt. Zion (duh), GY!BE (mega-duh), 'Up-C Down-C Left-C Right-C ABC + Start' yada yada. More electronic but kinda in the same vein... 65daysofstatic, M83. All yummy.

Mordeth, I know a place where one can 'purchase' Iron & Wine's whole back-catalogue. Hit me up on IRC or something.
