    Anyone know of anywhere in Ireland I can get some Rupees (India) for a trip to india ?

    tried AIB , they don't do them , can't order them....

    you can get them at thomas cook on henery st ring them a day or two before you go and they will have them in for you otherwise bting USD and € if you are flying though a major European airport like Frankfurt Heathrow or Gatiwick they will have them there.

    If you´re arriving in Mumbai or Delhi there are banks and ATMs in the arrivals hall (and also hotel and pre-paid taxi booking desks).

    They should be open no matter what time your flight arrives. Their exchange rates are no worse than anywhere else.

    Make sure to get an uneven amount (e.g. 1450 rupees, not 1500) as you will need small bills; nobody has change anywhere.
