    Hey,

Just looking at some of the chatter on here,
and I i'm interested in learning to draw.

I've always been interested in graphics and stuff but have never learned freehand drawing. I chose Tech Drawing for Junior Cert instead of Art.

I looked at the how to draw Manga URL posted previously which is the kinda thing i'm looking for.

Anyone else got URLs or general guidlines to get me started?

Would it even be worth enrolling in a course?

    Thanks,

    - Kevin

Howdy, Check out www.desktopstarships.com its mostly 3D stuff but has useful links which lead to technique sites.

I suggest you get Paintshop pro, A Marcomedia product (Flash or Fireworks) or Photoshop.

To actually do decent graphics on a computer:
a: Get a graphics tablet (cheapest about £80, professional ones run to £100's), allows you to draw free hand.
b: Draw on tracing paper and scan it in Mono, then sharpen and add colour and touch up.

I do not know which courses you can do appart from those in specific packages (adboe illustater etc).
