Naw, it's more raw materials like concrete slabs and such... although maybe builders providers differ around the country... the ones I'm thinking of wouldn't.

Well I thought of that, but then:
a). Road deaths increase from all the drunk drivers.
b). Sad time of year for many, suicides ahoy.
c). Very cold in december, old people kicking the bucket and homeless people dieing from exposure.
I'm not sure of the facts and figures behind this, but I could see some increase... in fact, I can imagine a pie-chart somewhere in the back office of some funeral parlor titled "our projected december customers".

A lot more people go out over Christmas = more keys being lost = Increased need for locksmiths.

Do you think it should be just shops, or businesses aswell? Cuz locksmith isnt really a shop

Mr.X gets Mrs.X a kinky set of handcuffs for christmas and some hot games (to celebrate the birth of Jesus, as ye do) ... in their drunken stupor, they lose the keys... oh, we'd better call the locksmith... ooh a threesome!
Hmm, I want to be a locksmith tbh.
