For the first time, this evening I fell asleep after eating my dinner! Does this make me officially old? I've just turned 24. Is this the the start of a slippery slope to zimmer frame land?

Nope! now, if you fell asleep while actually doing something, like at the table itself, I'd be worried. :p

But if you mean lying down and drifting off, it happens all the time!

And I'm just 17. I'm probably just abnormally lazy though.... :(

It means you've learned just how pleasant a wee snooze is. This wisdom generally only comes with age, but some folks learn early. I love sleep. It's one of life's great pleasures.

Reminds me of a funny story regarding my mams cousin who fell asleep after dinner on his 24th birthday and died after choking on his own vomit after his diced carrots started repeating on him.
Oh wait hang on that wasn't the funny story I meant to type
Will put it up later when i think of it
    Respect to uncle Joe. :(
And no respect to diced carrots.

was this directly after he turned 24 or is this just something people who are 24+ have to watch out for? Falling asleep after dinner and dying, that is!

I'm not sure but out of 19 men on my mothers side of the family 11 of them have died after choking on various foodstuff at some point of their 25th year on the planet. The other 8 are all big fans of the liquidiser,Uncle Matty swears by his after almost choking to death on a piece of turnip back in 76
But as i say it was only 11 out of 19 so theres probably nothing to worry about.

Does falling asleep on the toilet make you an alcoholic?

Yeah, but that's because your family was cursed by an old gypsy woman, who caught your great great grandfather in a sexual position with the gypsy donkey.

    I don't snooze, period.

It's something to do with the extra blood going to your stomach for dohestion making you tried. Doesn't affect me.

Babies have a nap after feeding too, so maybe you're getting younger? :)
