Nice lunch in town?

I am meeting a friend who I haven't seen in several months and we are meeting in Dublin for lunch around the city centre - ie parnell square to Stephen's Green area.

I've been living in Dublin myself for the past 10 years, but majority of sit-down meals I've had have been in the evening, majority of lunch buying has been takeaway , at my desk, homemade.
So I don't know much about going out for lunch....!

I'm not thinking of anywhere too pricey - just somewhere that you could get a nice salad meal, sambo, coffee and decent(polite) service - E25 max(no booze).
Any ideas for pubs or cafes that are friendly and do nice mid-afternoon food?
And we'll be going for lunch around 2.30.

Why not just go to Kylmore in the Stephen's Green centre?

Thanks for that guys - I will definitely check it out. I used to go in there quite regularly a few years ago when I was a student for a lovely fresh salad roll and a pot of tea. I haven't been there in donkeys.

    Thanks Mart

    RE Yamamori:
Could you recommend any dish(es) in particular?
I'm not very familiar with Japanese food(apart from loving soy sauce and tofu).

    Thanks again.

    Dreamcatcher

I never had meat there but only after their seafood stuff. Their Salmon Teriyaki is lovely. Served with rice and salads. If you fancy noodles, there are selections like Yakisoba and Ramen. Sushi and Sashimi are not bad. I haven't had main dish since last few visits bcoz I was on couple of plates of starter dishes. :p

The menu helps if you read them. Ask the staff, they are very nice especially those cute Japanese ladies. :D Plenty of selections and I suggest that you ring before lunch coz it normally busy enuff.
