Maybe the price is so low because its so crap. Went with my X to see it at the cinema and we left bored.

The best Irish film in years, in my opinion!

Beats that 'Man About Dog', 'Spin The Bottle' and 'Adam and Paul' crap hands down!

I too enjoyed the film. I can't understand people leaving the cinema half way through a film. If I've paid for the ticket, I may as well stay to the end to have closure on the story, no matter how boring.

Only film i ever left half-way through... actually, before the halfway point.. was U-571!

    ** shudder **

Then you must have a lot of money to throw around and you must also leave alot of movies

I got it for 1.99, in the Xtra vision I was in it had a €1 off sticker on it! :)

Regardless of the price, its a fantastic movie!

I just watched it because the bus stunt was filmed about 5 minutes away from where I live. It's good for 3 euro though.

Damn straight! 'I Went Down' is fantastic!

Can you believe it was directed by the same guy who made that 'Man About Dog' sh*te?!

    Was very disappointed!

I have not seen the movie but I walk out of half the ones I go 2, if a crap movie has robbed you of the ticket money it is essential to walk out and not allow them rob you of any more of your time, the outcome of the plot is immaterial if the movie is crap such as oceans 12 as a very good example

Hold on - you walk out of half the movies you go to? Do you make really bad moive choices or are your standards impossibly high? And what constitutes a bad movie to you? Sure, it's far enough to mention "Ocean's 12" but if you're leaving 50% of movies, you should be able to list plenty more examples and point out where all these movies are going wrong.

Oh and 3 quid - might pick it up myself today.

Intermission is okay, some funny bits. It's pace is slow though...

Adam and Paul is funnier and more touching I think..

Intermission wasn't really about anything in particualr...

As a rule I dont go to Irish films as I live here I dont want to see it in a movie, a movie for me is about escaping to another place for 2 hours...But that is probably just me..

Yeah.. they offered the DVD of it a couple of months back in the Sunday World for €5 (if i remember correctly)

Was a matter of time before it'd happen!

PS - on a related matter, a DVD of "Into The West" will be given away free with The Sunday Independent this weekend.
