got the idea for the thread from this

    http://magazine.mindandmuscle.net/magmain.php?issueID=5&pageID=66

someone posted this link a few days ago(cant remeber who though).

Got me thinking. I take the protein after workout, but never really thought aobut my diet before workout or Carbs etc after workout.

SO what does everyone else do?

i usually just have a cereal as i go to the gym early enough in the day. This probaly isnt adequate. What do you lot take before workout to get best results? I know carb's should be

Dextrose (glucose), Maltodextrin - Does anyone take these? ANy shop in Dublin that sells them? I remeber someone saying they get glucose sweets in tesco and put them in there protein shake after workout.

What do other people put in there protein shakes?

I usually have a bowl of all-bran with skim milk an hour before and then a wholegrain sandwich with two slices of lean ham and mustard and a piece of fruit immediately after.
