Well i've run Adaware and Spybot seach and destroy but they found nothing. There is defo something there though.
Processess (sp?) keep on appearing in the takmanager with random lettered .exe's.
When i close one, another opens etc. Ad-watch catches them, but doesn't do anything about them. Everytime they are deleted from the registry (HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE-software/microsoft/windows/Run) they suddenly reappear with a different name.

It doesnt seem like they are trying to connect to the net as the firwall hasn't caught them. They are all ~200kbs. I've googled them, but as they seem to be random letters put together, nothing has come up

do you have microsofts Anti spyware beta, because that intigrates with the OS to track things like that.

Also try a evaluation version of PC Tools spyware doctor, because thats good too.

That microsoft AntiSpyware one is pretty good. It removed some cráp for me that Spybot and others couldn't.

all those exes must have a "mama" file! like really big one.

seriously though, download "process explorer", it's much better then taskmgr, it might show you something more.

spyware is a self inflicted injury, I find that the people who get it are usually serial downloaders who install utilities like Gator and Web Search toolbars, once you are infected they are difficult to remove, Sometimes you can clean it using HiJack This and removal tools but IMO the best solution is to backup, format and reinstall Windows,

    also looking at PORN.
I personally like the MS anti spyware beta because it lets you know whats happening every so often, cant wait for the next version.

    yep, gotta agree there

spyware victims are like people who smoke complaining about getting cancer :p

+ it only takes about half hour to reinstall windows... that is, if you have everything backed up correctly

It could be a virus and not spyware. What AV are you using?
