Download Speed

I trying to download a file using Limewire but the speed never seems to go above 5 or 6 kb/s and then drop back to 0kb and stops i have to kill the download and start it again to get it going again.Im on eircom broadbands home package,surely i should be able to get better speeds than this.Anyone have any ideas as to what…

It's very much dependant on how many people are hosting that completely-copyright-unencumbered file you're downloading.
