Was down there two months ago doing some training. Staff are excellent and great set up and lots of equipment and free weights.

It is very busy in the evenings but what gym isn't these days.

    Unsure on prices

Popped in there to have a look and it was really really nice. Good lot of equipment available and the staff seemed to know their stuff. The locker rooms themselves were also very good, very fancy.
If I wasn't joining the Mardyke next year because I will be a student, I would join the Locker Room.
The prices seemed around the same as other places. Maybe a tad bit higher than the norm but it looked worth it.

I got a free day pass for it once and checked it out. The dressing rooms are lovely (well at least the womens), with hair driers, straighteners, sauna and so on. THe lockers are maghony-esque and a decent size.

They have loads of treadmills, cycles, rowing machines as well, as well as the usual resistance weight machines. They also however, have those pneumatic resistance machines too. They have weight-lifting platforms in another section with a decent selection of free weights. The only fault I really had, is that it's all a bit crammed in there, and the room has low enough ceilings. One of the weight-lifting platforms is right under a crossbeam. But other than that, it's pretty nice.
