I'm trying to sell my old bike for a while now and I just got one of those scam emails.
I thought I'd post it to give you all a laugh. I'm going to string him along for as long as possible and see what happens.

    First email:

    Goodday seller,
I am interested in the Kawasaki KZ Kawasaki you have for sale. I'd like you to quote your last price on it and you will be paid with a certified Money Order. I will like to hear from you immediately so that i can contact my clients to make arrangement for your payment, and my shippingagent will handle the shipping of the bike to me at my new house in Scotland.
hope the condition as list is still the same.i hope to hear from you soon and i will to see the pics of what i want to buy from you via Email.
    Kind Regard,
    Kostos Crawford.

    ME:
    Hi Kostos,

I have attached a picture of the bike. I can only accept a personal check
for payment and I will allow the bike to be shipped when the check has fully
    cleared.
If this is ok please let me know.

    Many Thanks
    XXXX

    SCAMMER:

Greetings to you in the name of the lord jesus ,

Thanks for your mail, and I belive you truely have the bike for sale and I have also decided to get it for €1,500 and I don't mind the bank draft having to clear before I get the keys to the Kawasaki KZ Kawasaki .. . but i'll need you to wired the balance of my moneys through Western Union Money Transfer to my Shipping Agent so we can pay the shipping agency for the shipping so they can book us for the next available cargo. So I want to know if I can trust you on sending the remaining balance to my Shipper through Western Union Money Transfer, because my client in UK will be sending a certified bank draft for €5,000 to you. To start with the procurement of the bank draft,I will need the followiing info from you:

Your Full Name to be written on the bank draft........
Contact address Were the Bank draft will be sent to..........
    Country........
    Phone number(land and Mobile)
in order to recieve the cheque payment soonest....Hope to hear from you soon.
    Best Regards,
    Mr Kostos Crawford.

N.b: I'll make arrangement with the shipping company to send an agent to view the Kawasaki KZ Kawasaki ... at your convinience.

    ME:
    Hi Kostos,

Whilst riding the bike yeaterday I found that there is a fault with interphasic compensator. This of course would have an effect on the price of the bike. I am willing to offer the bike at the reduced price of €1000.
I have spoken to a Kawasaki dealer in Glasgow called "Quarks Japanese Motorbike importers" and they will be able to fit an interphasic compensator for a small fee.

Can you please let me know if this suits you.

    Many Thanks
    XXXX

Will post replies as they come in ....... ;)

that should be funny, keep us posted ASAP. :)

Kawasaki kawasaki bikes are renowned for their interphasic compensator faults. What usually happens is that a cascading error occurs on the bike after an interphasic compensator fault and the shoogle modifier tends to be corrupted and need rematrixed. Shame that, I hope he goes ahead with it, your offer is quite generous to say the least.

but doesnt the interphasic compensator require a complete arteriole recalibration of the interior extrinsic compensator? Darn sakies and their interphasic compensators total waste of money because of all that money you poor into the outerphasic compensator and the other one blows!

Keep us posted. You should take the money off him and then mail him a its ashes and a replica of the bike!

well TBH it sounds very dodgy, why cant the man just pay it straight, theres so much to go wrong in getting payment and i think K-TRIC has a bad feeling about it, but just to see hes gonna take the piss, so this will be funny to hear.
