DV Connector Camcorder to computer?

My DV camcorder uses a DV cable to conncet to the computer for editing not a USB cable like other versions of the camera. Where can I get a DV cable? And can a modern computer connect to a DV cable? Will I be able to edit?

If your computer has a firewire connection then you will be able to connect it. If not, you can buy a firewire card for about €40. You'll probably get a free cable with the card.

See can you see that type of connection on your computer. You'll need some editing software, having firewire will enable you to get footage onto your PC.
