    Its not bad at all. The only disadvanatage is the lack of a PCI-E or AGP slot, so you are stuck with the integrated graphics. If you need a dual monitor set up i guess you can easily make do with a s/h PCI card or something, but forget games.

    Its annoying really, I had a Dimension 2400 before and it even had the pattern on the mobo for an AGP slot, I reckon Dell just intentionally cripple the 2400/3000 so as not to canabalise the sales of the higer spec and more expensive machines. I guess they are entitled to do that.

    better off going for the 5000 machine , set one up recently , very silent,and expanable , have a 3000 , it noisy and can't upgrade anything ...ignore the 17" flat that try to sell you the PC and think about the PC you need

    Spec it up on the web and then ring dell and see what they can subsitute for the free terrible ( used lots of ink ) printer
