ATI RADEON® XPRESS 200M IGP graphics
    8-cell Lithium-Ion (Li-Ion) battery

Was looking at that laptop a week or two back and was impressed. I'm in the same boat, need one for web/print design. I didn't think it came with 1GB RAM at that price. Where did you get that price?

Also, have a look at HP Compaq nx8220 (Business notebook - www.hp.com/ie ) Massive features list plus lighter/smaller than zv6065.

    Hey.
The 1399e price was quoted on the HP site as the recommended price.
Also, on the Micro Anvika site in the uk it is priced at 899sterling which converts to about the same price in euro.
    http://www.microanvika.com/product.asp?TXT=INFO&PNO=HEW14070

Will have a look at that business one now.
    thanks.

    I would.

I have the pavillion zv5000 - solid, well built, great screen. The only downside is the battery - it's 8 months old and I only get an hour out of it.

It runs Half-Life 2, Doom 3 and Fifa 2005 without problem.

    Hey,
Actually, has anybody seen this laptop for sale anywhere in Ireland or on the web, with a euro price?
A UK site was charging me 80sterling postage for it.
    Thanks.

Thanks but I haven't seen them myself in PC World or Dixons or Harvey Normans

"The Laptop Shop" on top floor of stephens green s.c. has them I think. Also, Harvey Norman in Swords had one on display 2 weeks ago when I was there.

It's a lovely machine allright. My only concern would be the weight/size. Other than that it's a contender!

    Nice one, thanks.
I'll check out the laptop shop on my lunch today.
Do you know how much they were?
    Is it really that heavy?

I was quoted €1399 by a guy named Paul (I think?) over the phone. He's sound. Give them a shout and they'll help you out no bother.

Website isn't up yet but they reckon it will be soon (www.thelaptopshop.ie). You can grab ph.no. from it anyway.

As for weight, I believe it's 3.6kg which is not massive I know, but from my research the average is 2.4kg - 3.0kg. And it's also the only laptop I've ever seen to go over the 50mm height barrier too!

Check out the dv1265EA (2.4kg, 30mm) - same price (also quoted from "Laptop Shop") - only downside is 64mb shared memory.

    Thanks for the help...
I was in the shop. They say they will be getting it in on the 20th June.
