Ink Re-Fill

Ok so i bought one of thoise ink refill kits. I filled the cartridge with the right colour in each part. Since, the result has been crap!! There's lines going through every picture and the outline of any images i print are all strange dark colours. I think this is because there's a large amount of ink on the bottom of the cartridge where the heads are but no matter how many times i clean there within a few min its back to just black from all the colours mixing as the drip out. Anyideas?

yeah don't use crappy kits in future :)
if you want to save money buy remanufactured cartridges.. loads of places sell them but I've always had good experience with http://www.9to6.ie/

What cartridge is it, and how long was it since it went empty. You have to fill it STRAIGHT AWAY, so the sponge doesn't dry up. Sounds like yours has, so the ink is not being retained, just flowing through.

Don't forget to run a 'Clean Print Head' cycle also.
