ALDI 5.2 Mega P. Digital Camera Eur 149 or Eur 199?

    JUst looking at http://www.aldi.ie/ and they're avertising a digital camera for 149 on theiur home page but 199 when you 'click on' for details.

    Anyone know the actual price and if it's actually half decent?

    it's 199, it's 149GBP, must be a misprint from english ad, looks ok, but lidl have a 4MP one for 149...

    when is the lidl one for €149 on sale.cant seem to find it on their website.any chance of posting a link.

    Dunno about Lidl but Adli have one on Thursday....

    Not sure if it's 149 or 199 as there seems to be some sort of mix up on the site. Does anyboby know the situation here? :confused:

    daithi, got a leaflet through the door, it was for tyrrelstown this sat on I think, apparently they are having a car park sale or something. will double
    check and get back to you.

    stimpy as ai said above it's 199...

    Anyone know if the Aldi one is comaptible with Mac OS9? )Can't upgrade to OSX for work software reasons).

    I bought this camera yesterday and I'm pretty pleased with it, with one exception, I'm having trouble with the USB connection to the PC. The PC finds the USB connection but is unable to recognise the object?. Anybody else having this problem?

    sounds like you need drivers -did a disk not come with it???

    yeah, a disc did come with it and I installed the drivers with no joy. Suppose I'll delete them and retry. Failing that I'll try and get the drivers off their web site
