Are you going for a programming role with accenture?

the only technical test I've done for them was for Helpdesk desk work and was extremely easy

I know a programmer (consultant) who works for accenture.

    He is highly retarded.

I don't think you have anything to worry about!

Took the test today.... was a I/O problem. Had to read in a load of numbers, sort them and output to file... file names were given as command line arguments and you had to place the program in a package...

The numbers were of type long.

The test wasn't to bad, but the fc*king laptop i was working on kept stalling and you only have an hour to do the test. At one stage a dude from operations had to come in to change the power supply... bit of a joke really.

I had an interview with them last year. I was doing the tech test and the interviewer left and said to give him a shout when I was finished. It was p!ss easy and I finished it in a few minutes. When I went out to find the guy I was told that he's gone home !!!
To top it all off he initially left me waiting an hour in the reception.

I told the recruitment agency that I don't want the job and to not bother contacting me about it again.

They are always looking for staff, I wonder why !!

How did you apply to them?

What was the job exactly and the money for it ?

what is the language of the programs ?

I did a ASP technical test via the phone, and it was basically about 20-30 questions straight from a Microsoft certification exam. The one I did had lots of obscure questions in it. The ones you guys have done sound a lot more straight forward.
