Im looking for a really good scheduling program for windows to automate regular tasks like running anti virus, spyware, defrag, etc. Is such software available free? The one provided in windows is very basic. Thanks

What exactly do you want it to do that the Windows one can't?

Does you anti-virus not have a built in scheduler?

The Windows scheduler will schedule a defrag no problem.

Chances are, you'll need the full command line, paramters/switches etc. for the app you're trying to run from the scheduler. If you have that, the the Windows one is fine for the job.

Ok heres what I want to do (maybe the windows one can do this!):

    Just by pressing one button:
Run my anti virus and search for updates,
then my two spyware programs and search for updates,
    then windows update,
    then clear browser cache,
    then defrag , etc, etc.

Just general stuff, just want something convenient instead of having to run all these tasks separately.
