Just got one myself :) (well got one and had it replaced)

In organiser the zen micro should be showing on right side of window, if not click VIEW and select it
then when you have albums/tracks in the main window there are two arrow icons between th windows one moves onto your zen, one moves off it back to your library.

any other problems feel free to pm / msn me

would do screen shots but on work pc

If you've installed the software correctly and the zen's hooked up to your computer then open windows explorer and you should see it on the bottom left somewhere (in the left pane). Just clicky and follow the instructions.

Is that what your looking at? Minus all the songs of course, select your mp3 player in top left box, then select import tracks (highlighted) and then just select all the songs you want through the new window that pops up.

Where are you getting copy to zen from? Highlight your mp3 player in the "sources" window to the top left, then choose "import tracks".

Forget about burning, stay away from that.

    Hello,
    I have had my zen micro since Christmas. Personally I dont like the creative software as I also had problems with it. My advice would be to download windows media player 10;

    http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/mp10/default.aspx

All you have to do is rip the cds you want with the "rip" facility and then right click the songs you want to transfer and select add to sync list.

I have never looked back since.

    Hope this helps.

If wmp doesnt detect your player then your problems in either the player or the connection ie. cable or usb slot.

**** i thought it was working

yeah i sycronized all my files to the device (it completed 100%)
then i checked my zen and no files had been added (yes its connected)

    WTF?

    that is weird.

are you sure the safe to connect logo had appeared on the screen??

if it had i suggest a reformat of your zen then install most up to date firmware.

reformat by: sliding off cover, take the battery out and hold power switch to on then as its held to on reinsert battery. select format.

    then go to : http://ie.europe.creative.com/support/downloads/download.asp?Product_ID=10795&Product_Name=Creative+Zen+Micro&DriverLang=1033&OS=10&DriverType=4&sOSName=Windows+XP&details=0

choose Creative Zen Micro Firmware 1.02.05.

    then try wmp10 again.

    What happens?

No problem at all. The zen is really a good player but the software is a little poor.

Other than that though it is an excellent player. :D

best of luck with it. Any more problems feel free to ask :)
