I'm having a serious problem viewing my notes on my comp. They are either html files or powerpoint presentations. Now I have ms word 97, excel 97 and pp-viewer 97, ie 6 and firefox. On ms word I also have ms equation editor 3, which allows me to make equations in word. HOWEVER when I view my notes the equations are all full of letter-boxes and empty squares.

Anyone able to help me out here?

What font are you using in the equation editor?

No idea.. It seems to be a default one with no method of changing.
Viewing equations I made are no problem, it's ones I got off the college network on my file-storage. They work fine on my mate's laptop but when I put the file storage onto this comp, the equations come up as gobbledegook

Got win xp home btw. The equations used to work before I had to replace the hard drive back a few months ago. So everything was loaded on from scratch.
