Is it Anakin and Padmé's sickeningly sweet:
    Anakin - "You're so beautiful."
Padmé - "It's only because I'm so in love."
Anakin - "No -- it's because I'm in love with you."
Padmé - "So love has blinded you."

Or is when Darth Vader acts like Frankenstein
Darth vader - "Padmé, is she alright?"
Palpatine - "Unfortunately in your rage you killed her."
Darth Vader - "I sensed life in her! She must be alive! NNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO"

You got that Vader Quote all wrong, its actually more like

"Where is Padme? Is she safe, is she alright?"
"It appears, in your rage, you killed her.."
"Thats not possible, I sensed her or something etc etc"

But lol, that "romantic" scene sure does win the international cheese award, it hasn't a patch on "Noooooooooooooooooooooo!" for sheer worst constructed and acted scene in a Hollywood movie...

/I kept flicking through and rewinding that "Noooooooo" scene after I got back from the cinema, and I have to say WTF was Lucas thinking, its terrible....

I didn't mind the way he looked like Frankenstein - after all he was using the legs for the very first time. You ever see a kid pop out after child birth and start running the 100m in under 10 seconds?

Think back to when Luke had his hand replaced, and they had to test that it worked by sticking it with needles.

It was the shouting "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOoooooooooooooo..........." bit that had me instantly cringing.

    Check this out!!

well I voted for the NOOOOOOOOooooooooooooo!!! but I think a close second is after the clones follow order/command 66 and you see the female jedi on the wookie planet getting killed without a fight, and then the clones keep shooting her while she is on the ground. the other Jedi put up a much better fight, the best was Ki-Adi-Mundi, the most heart-felt imo, then the one with the kid and Senator Organna (not sure who the kid was tho) and then Yoda pwning two of them with a great backflip, great stuff

That blue lass was shackled and unarmed, she didn't have much of a chance.

    It has to be "Nooooooooooo"

Anakin was a great character up until that point.

I voted for the "NNNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOO" scene.

everything in that moment was fine expect the "nnnnnnnnnnnnoooooooooo". The stuff getting crushed around them and papatines little smile were great.

The worst scene is neither of those two choices imho.

I reckon the worst scene was Yoda, Kenobi and BailOrgana sitting around a table discussing (clearly for the audience benefit only) what they were going to do with the babies now that the Emperor had taken over.

Not only is it the worst because of BailOrgana's cringe-worthy "My wife and I will take the girl. We've always talked of adopting a baby girl*" line but from a storytelling pov the scene its completely pointless and unneccessary in itself. Any SW fan by definition already knows their plans and the closing montage directly afterwards clearly enacts exactly what they've just been talking about anyway.

The bit about Yoda describing the 'QuiGon training' to Kenobi should have been still have be used of course tho .... or perhaps even expanded upon with the few seconds they would have saved but the actual expostion bit between the trio should have been chopped.

    * = Bail shouldn't you take the kid anyway purely because it'd be a generous and noble thing to do, not because it neatly fits into your lifestyle plans?

As for the 'nooooooo' bit that everyone seems to find very cringeworthy I think time and revision might prove this to be a perfectly executed and welcome line. I say so because if you watch ROTJ just as Luke cuts off Vaders hand DV makes a very uncharacteristic and corny (but by now well accepted) 'aaaaahhhhh' sound that is very similar to the 'noooooooooo' and I think the two compliment each other excellently and will find favour with fans over time. What makes them doubly poetic is that IIRC the Emperor is smiling during the 'noooo' line and he also laughing after the 'ahhhh'. It's as tho he gets off on Vaders pain. It all comes together! :)
