    Well i'd assume if its released by the CB that its legal tender - however at a 230% markup, do you really wanna use it as such?

    Are you sure they can just release their own legal tender like that? i thought since we joined the euro that it would have to be released throughout europe!

    You're still allowed mint coins. There is a €10 coin in Spain and Austria
