Thinking of buying a Compaq laptop from Dixons

    Hiya,
    first post (I think)
I'm thinking about getting a laptop at the moment. Would have been interested in the ALDI one but I went there today and they have none left.
I popped into dixons and found this one (click link) for €1,399.00

Anyone know of any reasons why I should or shouldn't go with this?

I was also looking at a Sony Vaio VGN-FS115E for a similar price but seem to remember a friend of mine having bad things to say about the Vaio.

thanks a million in advance! :)

Looks pretty good alright. 100GB is the biggest laptop HD you can get at the moment.
1gig RAM, can't go wront there.
    AMD's are good too..
