Hi there, This may seem like a strange request but i need to find a user here with real name <snipped on request>. I cant remember his username. I bought stuff off him a few yrs ago and used 24houronline aib to transfer the money to him. The problem is i by accident just transferred him my rent money instead of my landlord…

Thanks joe, i've gone through my post and nothing seems to jog my memory. It was definitely last year, 2004 or before. His username was nothing like his real name though so it'd be pure luck if that worked too. Is there anyway one of the mods can search through the registration details?? As i remember when i signed up i entered my real name??

Lets hope its not http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=123555 he hasnt been online since last yr.... If you ring aib24 hour support they might be able to contact him? Worth a try.

Try posting there or in the helpdesk.I imagine it would be a bit of hassle going through all the names of registered users. There is also the chance he didn't register with his real name

If it was a few years ago, how come you only noticed now?

The transfer details should contain the source code for his local branch.
Find out where is bank is, and look for him in that area.

Ha why dont people read, He had a dealing with him a few years ago, added his account to his 24 hour banking and guessing today and yesterday he transfered the rent money into that guys account again as it was still there from the previous dealing, Correct me if i am wrong.

What did you buy off him a while ago. That's the first thing.

Log a ticket with the Administrators - they can search by email presumably (don't log a ticket with the Super Mods, we can't), but you'd be quicker searching if you told us what you bought from him.
