I played uldaman last night for the first time and I have to say I really enjoyed it.. the final boss (wont spoil it for others) is absolutely class looking and its a fun adventure all the way through.. now to put the vids together.

The two setpiece encounters in Uldaman are truly amazing, and i loved them.

All the boss encounters in SM are also fun. However, without a doubt the funnest and most infuriating (yes, at the same time) was the old ZF. Divino before it was fixed was INSANELY difficult but pretty rewarding when you finally fluked it

Er, my favoirte instance tho is Strat undead side, simply cos its only 40 mins

A lot of people hate uldaman as from apart from the 2 cool bosses the instance itself is pretty boring. Bosses are cool tho

Defininitely the old "stairs" boss in Zul. Used to be absolutely brilliant. Needed tactics and a well balanced party. You can now do it with $rand group with only a handful of tactics... it is however more in line with the rest of the instance. Pity all the same.

Strat undead side ive never done in a party of 5. Only 10 and 15 (yes we walked it again and again back in the day). Looking forward to doing it in a party of 5.

My favourite instance tho? It was sunken temple till i did it about 20 times and got bored. Think it may be BRD (shadowforge key shortcut) as there are so many bosses in a short period.

Hardest ive ever done was Scholomance and that was ina group of 10-15 again (rattlegore and his cronies are unbelievably hard, there was a saying. Pull more than 2 and its a wipe.) Im _really_ looking forward to trying schoho in a group of 5.

I loved Inner Maraudon, outer Maraudon was a little less .. fun.
Uldaman and Zul Farrak were annoying, the one in darkshore .. blackfathon keep or something was quite good, didn't like sunken temple.

Loved deadmines, where you come out into the huge cavern and see the pirate ship, helped that I was still a total newb at the time

Hated hated hated Uldaman. Annoying mobs, annoying bosses, annoying layout. Just plain annoying. It doesn't help you have to do several runs of tedious parts for some quests. BRD the same, just annoying.

Maraudon was cool, nice boss runs once you have the wand/stick thing. UBRS seemed pretty cool. Fun killing the Beast (and we got the pristine hide after skinning it, lol). Strat and Scholo, thumbs up.

razorfen downs was my fav. the pile of bones and the 30 skeletal warriors was class, even if they were weak as piss, owning them with IAE was fun

I hate to say it, but I love SM so far.
From the mage who uses Arcane Explosion and sheep, to the mass sleep, ressurect, heal; from the male and female 42 paladins at the end. I just love it. That said I havent really much frame of reference as I've done very few high level instances, so far.

I hate Shadow Fang Keep, as the normal mobs are 20-25 or so, whereas Arathel is 27 and he hurts. So you can end up not getting any xp with a group too high, or getting a low group and lots of xp, but wiping on arathel

Black Fathom Deep was fun, did it in about 2 1/2 hours in a group of two, level 35 shammie w a level 29 rogue. seemed nicely balanced.

That's about my favorite so far, but have only done Wailing Caverns, Shadowfang keep, Ragefire Chasm and Razorfang Kraul. WC would be my 2nd fav i think.

Shadowfang is my least favorite.

Was a fun run last night- end boss is certainly exciting. I like the whole indy theme to the place too.

Was a pretty big challenge for: L46 warrior, L48 rogue, L45ish warlock, L42 druid.

Good thing I rocked.

Sunken Temple is a great instance in my opinion, but loooong and tough. it is too easy for the group that is needed to finish it, and too tough at the end for the groups that will get sent there by quest. But omg its pretty and the dragons are cooooool.

Sunken temple is long unless u get a rogue/druid (combo if needed) to stealth through all those bloody trolls and get them to kill the 5 shield dudes.

Bit shorther then.. but not much.

I really like dire maul north cause you can dress up like an ogre and do their funky dance. Plus you get to be the king afterwards.

Ah yeah the ogre dance is classic, plus the whole sequence where Mokcrush runs away after you tell him lies. Mmmm. Should do that again tonight, I could use some of the fancy stuff in the tribute chest. And the drunk ogre, aww he's cute.

XD got the Rod of the Ogre Magi last night, and i have a brightwood too . Just need to get the crown and the crit gloves.. and the tempest talisman heheh

i've been trying to do blackfathom deeps for the last two days, but every time i go there, i get into some pvp, which usually involves lots of dying. great fun

so far, deadmines has looked the coolest.

Deadmines & SM. Those instances are allways a fun run.

Started doing Blackrock recently too..the place really makes you feel useful as a rogue for a change

I agree BRD is soo annoying.. I really liked Uldaman, Did it about 10 times Still have to do LBRS and UBRS and MC too but i got to 60 the other day n im going after the LF set now Paladin of course

Totally agree.. Sunken Temple is by far the best so far for me. i went in with a farily nice group, all level 53+ and one 60 and we strolled through it with no problems.

After that i have to say a Princess Run in mauradon, just from where you portal in with the staff of crebeus ( or what ever its called ) and taking landslide on the way.

Tbh I haven't done one since I finally got Van Cleefs head due to becoming allergic to grouping with morons. I'm looking forward to doing more when my clans alts catch up with me.

Heh even with a good group Gnomeregan is a pain in the hole :P
