yea here i go.....

i got xwindows running but it seems to be trying to put a 600x600 display onto a 320 x240 monitor monitor if ya follow. As in the screen is enormouely out of proportion and moving the mouse sideways scrolls across the screen
also sometimes exiting from it leave the screen shot
as in words don't appear preperly, eg the line dev/hda3 turns into dv hhhjh

any ideas
Gav
cheers

you have to run Xconfigurator and make sre youre desktop area matches youre screen resolution.. or something like that <IMG SRC="http://lacerta.ucg.ie/boards/smile.gif" WIDTH=15 HEIGHT=15 BORDER=0 ALT=":)">
im betting ure at resolution 640*480, and desktop area 800*600
