Setanta on NTL this Sunday

    It seems Setanta Sports in their infinite wisdom will not be showing the first half of the Celtic game (title decider) this Sunday so they can fulfill contractual obligations to screen the entire Monaco Grand Prix. They are apparently making the Celtic game available on Sky for the subscribers on the PPV channel that they have there (for free) but are not doing the same on NTL.

    Anyone know anything else about this or whether they are likely to change their minds?

    It most certainly is not free! The match is shown, AFAIK, on a new Setanta Channel called "Setanta Soccer", which launched Monday - but in order to get this channel, you must first subscribe to Setanta Channel for €12 - whereas NTL get it free!

    Sorry what I meant to say was that it is free to Setanta Subscribers. NTL viewers don't have any means of getting the match, paid for or not.

    Sky subscribers in ROI & NI will be able to view full live coverage of the Motherwell v Celtic match via Sky Ch 433. KO: 14:00 BST

    Sky & Cable subscribers watching Sky Ch 429 / ntl Ch 401 / ntl Analogue in ROI & NI will be able to view the Monaco Grand Prix live (Race starts at 13:00 BST) followed by the 2nd half of the Motherwell v Celtic match (live), with goals from Hibernian v Rangers match.

    Sky subscribers in ALL Territories will be able to view the Hibernian vs. Rangers match via Sky ch 434

    433/434 are bonus channels that you can watch with your Setanta sub.

    Ntl are putting the whole Celtic match on Cnbc channel from 1.55, nice one :)

    They put some of the GP on it too when the football took over.
    CNBC loses out again.All those people that wanted CNBC over Eurosport must be getting annoyed by now. Sport ruining a lovely sunday afternoon watching the stock markets. :rolleyes: :rolleyes:
