The Piano Man - amazing story

Has anyone else heard the story in the news over the last few days about this Piano Man, found wandering the streets of a town in North Kent? I've tried a search and had a look around but can't find any posts of it so far.

Basically, he was found in a complete dinner suit over 5 weeks ago, soaked from head to toe and has yet to speak a word to the care workers and authorities who try and communicate with him.

He drew an excellent and perfectly detailed picture of a grand piano, and when he was brought to the nearest piano he played wonderfully for over 4 hours. He has since been given sheet music and it has been determined that he can indeed read it.

Comparisons have been drawn between "The Piano Man" as he is now being termed, and David Helfgott, the pianist whose breakdown was the subject of the 1996 film Shine.

Yes, the story has fascinated me too. There much be such an interesting tale behind this man. I'm very curious as to how he ended up there. And itsn't it interesting that if he had a complete nervous brekdown, his talent has survived. Does this suggest that talent is innate and not learned?

Wait for it, it will probably turn out to be an "artistic installation" by someone or other.
