Using shell script to auto login and run script

    Hi all,

Might be on a bit of a lost cause here but I cant seem to find an answer to this.

I'm running a shell script from a batch file, just simple commands, but part of what I need to do is get the script to logoff and windows and back in again to refresh the environment and hopefull either keep the script running or call it from the login. Logging out is the easy bit, its coming back I cant seem to get.

    Any ideas?

for nt/2k/xp - sysinternals and powertoys have an autologin option - you could use reg.exe to push those reg settings and then reboot rather than logon/off - don't fortget to remove them later.

other option is to use RUNAS to logon in a cmd prompt
