just wondering could anyone share an experience or any knowledge with me regarding the pill. my gf started taking the pill there recently and has found that she's been in some funny moods or just generally not feeling right. she only just told me there tonight about how she's been feeling and she didn't make the connection with starting to take the pill and feeling like this until i thought of it there tonight. i know the pill changes hormone levels etc...ive said to her to stop taking it and we'll go to the doctor and see what the craic is but have any of the women here had anything similar happen to them? i'm just a bit worried bout my gf and would like to be as knowledgeable as i can to sort this out.

I tried it once but stopped after about 2 days because it was making me feel very very strange - strange "hormoney" feeling like having a metallic droning in my head, slight hallucinations, pains in my limbs. I went to a doctor about this but my claims were dismissed and I decided not to bother with it any more as a form of contraception. I'd advise your gf to go to a doctor too (hopefully they will be more sympathetic than mine was) and ask if she can try a different version of the pill and maybe to stop taking it for now if she feels strange.

Different pills affect different women in different ways. Its trial and error to find one that suits. If your girlfriend isn't happy with the one she is on then she should go back to her doctor and ask to me changed to a new one.

your g/f needs to go back to her doctor
nobody in here can help you out with regards to this as everyone's reaction to the pill is different.
I remember being on a pill many years ago that turned me into a total loolaa, so it does happen
