some of my friends stayed there, and the rooms were nice. (we stayed in the barbary coast further up the strip, beside paris paris, opposite ceasars) mind you the room seem to be uniform. The sahara had a nice pool though, and cheap tables thats the best thing really.

We just wanted to have a bit of fun play blackjack, roulette etc and the sahara has 1 dollar minimum bet tables, ie each chip is a dollar. which is fine by me and better than $2,$5,$10....

it is a bit down from the rest of the main casinos, we walked it a few times, got a taxi the rest, if you want to be right in the centre of the action all the time, its probably not ideal, but the big hustle and bustle is only a taxi/walk (long enough walk in the heat) away

i would have no problem stayin there if i went back.

a great cheap place to play is Terrible's casino. It is near the Hard Rock. You should stay at the Hard Rock as it has a lot of talent.

it kind of depends what youre there for, if you mainly want to relax and chill by the pool, then the Sahara, as you can easily get into the centre from there. If however you want to be in the thick of things stay further up, it is nice to have a pool etc in the heat though,
