    Nothing much to report, really....

    Subscriber base of over 350,000
Marketing of Sky, espically of Sky+, shows 12% up.

Sees no impact from the Chorus/NTL merger....

On the digital future in Ireland...
37% Digital penetration, 70% of those Sky. Plenty of growth...
RTÉ is vibrant competition to Sky

PSB remit of RTÉ, pleased that RTÉ are attempting to fulfil it. Steps in the right direction.
Interested to see what happens on on PSB remit decision from EC. (is RTÉ right to have ads and licence fee, TV3's major wail.)

On Sky News Ireland... Pleased with it .... , 50% share increase

    7pm 11,000 viewers
    10pm 16,000 viewers

1m tuned into SN for Pope death, used the Dublin studio a lot for live 2-ways in that time, and use of reporters on normal Sky News reports.
