A little bit off topic here but, what could said cable be used for?

Just got a motherboard and power supply, the mb has a 24 pin connector and stupid me didnt realise that the power supply has a 20 pin connector! All part of the learning process! I got them online from england so I dont really want the hassle of sending the PSU back plus Ive opened it.

Im finding it very hard to get my hands on this, it seems all the shops ( bar online) are waiting on stock. I tried All Cables and they look quite good, but bizarrely they didnt seem to even know what I was talking about.

Any other places I could try? Dont laugh but would PC World have one?

Would PC World have one?.... Do you really need an answer to that? :P

The motherboard should still work without the extra four pins connected. Also, that cable on komplett is the opposite away around from what you wanted.

Is it ok to that? I mean will it work and is it safe?

Im sure that cable on komplett is the one i need. The power supply has a 20 pin female connector, and the mb has a 24 pin male connector.
