Powerbook s-video probs

Anyone had any joy connecting their Powerbook G4 (mine's an early '05 model) to a telly using an S-Video -> SCART connector? I get a picture but it's black and white only, whichever of the many resolutions I try, or whether I try PAL or NTSC (my telly supports both).

Same cable works fine when connecting a PC to the same telly. Any suggestions?

are u using the apple supplied adaptor or your own s video lead ?

Have you tried with the apple svideo to composite just to see if the laptop is outputting the correct signal

, possible the scart end is not a fully pinned scart also

The ATI graphics grip on the powerbook nornall autosense the connection once the pal /ntsc settings are correct

D'oh, forgot there was an Apple s-video to composite lead in the box... had been using my own s-video -> scart (think it's fully-pinned though, bloody well should be for the price it was anyway...)

Will try the Apple lead tomorrow and see how it goes.

Yup, that works fine... just a bad scart lead I guess.
