try expedia.com for cheap hotels in Las Vegas. I went there from Dublin to Chicago with Aer Lingus and then onto Las Vegas with American Airlines. That was by far the cheapest option for me back in March.

I was there in March and think I got everything as cheap as possible.

Flights from Dublin to LA with Aer Lingus
Flights from LA to Las Vegas with American Airlines.
Accomodation in the Plaza Hotel through vegas.com

If you do use the above options, call the AA office in Dublin to book, they don't accept Ireland as an address on the website for some reason.

I use www.hotels.com to get a rough estimate of price and then I tend to book directly with the hotel on their website if I get a cheaper price. After you have chosen a hotel, check the reviews it gets on www.tripadvisor.com before you book. I have stayed in Paris, MGM Grand and Circus Circus in LV. I would not reccommend Circus Circus. Make sure you get somewhere on the strip, you will pay more but it is way better!

yeah i agree with Enii - stay on the strip.

I stayed in Ballys and it was perfect. Nothing fancy about the hotel but the rooms were big and very clean. Plus it was central to the strip and has a Monorail station at the back of it. It's also linked to Paris. Got the cheapest rates on www.expedia.com We didnt know it at the time but it was Nascar Rally weekend in Las Vegas. SO we were limited to a few hotels on that site.

Cant really give much advice on the flights as we were on a bit of a tour but we flew Dublin> Chicago> Las Vegas> San Francisco> New York> Dublin for €700. All on the OneWorld group. My tip would be to try get the cheapest flights you can online - then ask your travel agent. See what they come up with. If its more expensive tell them what you got online and they should match it.

I stayed in Flamingo Hotel got best rate by going to hotel site direct, and you only have to pay for first night up front and the rest on check out, and no booking fees.
