eircom downgrade/upgrade

since my home plus is a complete rubbish, I decided to downgrade

I read their terms & conditions where it says that they charge for a downgrade! - upgrades are free. So what do we, eircom customers, do when an upgrade becomes a downgrade?!?. If they mention charges for it - fúck them out of it. I am sick to the teeth of their búllshít! I am working on one last option - contacting staff directly (my father is retired eircom), hopefully i will get some answers that way.

Your better off axeing eircom altogether. Can't you get IBB in?

nah I don't trust them :mad: I wouldn't be surprized if they overcharged me, so first wanted to ask here.

IBB is kinda "hit or miss" and with my luck it will definitely be miss
and I will be stuck with them for a year.

If you are an existing eircom broadband home plus customer, you can migrate to eircom broadband home starter for free for a limited time. A downgrade charge will be introduced this year.
