I just noticed 'The Ruling Class' starring Peter O'Toole is on Tv next Saturday night (22/5 at 1am).

By strange coincidence I just happended to get my hands on a VHS of this only last week after many years of meaning to do so and I have to say I was very impressed with it.

It's a weird little film adapted from a Peter Barnes stageplay and is a highly bizarre comedy about the insane heir to a British lordship who has the violent belief that he is both Jesus and also a rather unpleasant character from british history whom I won't mention here.

O'Toole is amazing in it and if he should have ever gotten an Oscar (he was nom'd 7 times but never won :( ) then it should have been for this imho.

Anyway, I reccomend you check it out if you've nothing better on.

Sadly O'Tool is destined to either get an Oscar for something rubbish or a special lifetime achievment award just before he dies...Hav'nt seen the Ruling Class but have horrible feeling it'll be very dated.

    Mike.
