Maybe it's cos I'm a guy and had to get a tux. But why not rent, if it's for a debs, chances are you won't need a dress of that style for a number of years again.

On a completely different note does anyone find it weird that I'm readign this thread.

Maybe you secretly wear debs dresses on your day off. ;)

Not anymore, the leg waxing was nasty but barable, but I had to draw the line when it came to giving myself a brazilian.

Well if you live in Dublin you gotta go to this shop in the Nutgrove shopping centre. I dunno if its there this year but it was there 2 years ago when my sister went and a good 5 years befre that when my mate went.

We went everywhere with my sister looking for a dress for her. Even up to Drogheda and Newry!! We walked in there and she found a dress within 10 mins. And the prices are really good. I saw some absolutely amazing dressing in there. I wish I was making my debs again.

You should defo check it out. Another bit of advice, SPend as little as possible on your dress. You're more htan likely only gonna be wearing it that one night and you'll probably end up with gravy and beer stains on it anyway.

Exact same here. That shop is brilliant.

I was goind to get my debs dress made because I'm very picky, but is it worth it? Would it just end up being more expensive in the end?
